Energy Bars with Flakes
Ingredients
Dried fruits: apricots, raisins, prunes, dates, figs (total weight – 150 g)
Walnuts – ½ cup
Oat flakes – 1 cup
Ripe banana – 1
Honey – 1-2 tsp
Cooking:
Prepare the dried fruits: rinse them in cold water, then in hot water.
Chop the dried fruits and grind the nuts.
Peel the banana and mash it into puree using a fork.
Mix the puree, dried fruits, nuts, and honey together.
Gradually add the oat flakes, spoon by spoon, and knead the mixture.
Place the mixture on parchment paper, spread it into a layer about 1–1.5 cm thick.
Put it in the oven on the lowest heat setting.
After 30–40 minutes, when excess moisture evaporates, remove the sheet from the oven. Once cooled, cut it into bars.
