Falafel

Ingredients

250 g chickpeas or beans

150 g millet (Zernovita)

Juice of half a lemon

4 garlic cloves

Salt, pepper, paprika

Breadcrumbs

Oil for frying

Cooking:

Soak the chickpeas or beans overnight. In the morning, rinse and cook them until tender.

Rinse the millet and cook it until tender as well.

Blend the chickpeas or beans in a blender, adding lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.

Finally, add the cooked millet and mix everything together with a spoon.

Form small balls, coat them in breadcrumbs, and fry on both sides until golden brown.

Falafel is best served with salad or fresh herbs.
