Rice Balls
Ingredients
200 g long-grain rice (Zernovita brand), cooked
150 ml cream
100 g hard cheese
2 eggs
Flour, breadcrumbs, salt, and spices — to taste
Cooking:
Heat the cream and mix it with grated hard cheese. Stir continuously until the mixture becomes smooth (the cheese should fully dissolve).
Add the rice, salt, and spices, and mix thoroughly.
Transfer the rice mixture to a form, press it down well, and refrigerate it to cool. Once cooled, cut it into pieces of any shape.
Alternatively, you can wrap the warm rice in plastic wrap (forming "logs"), and when cooled, cut into pieces.
Or simply cool the rice slightly and form balls.
Roll each rice ball or piece in flour, then dip it in beaten egg, and coat it with breadcrumbs.
Fry the rice balls in hot oil, turning them until golden brown on all sides.
Enjoy your meal!
