Meatball and Rice Soup

Ingredients

300 g ground meat

1.5 liters water3-4 potatoes

1 onion

1 carrot

2 tbsp rice

1 tomato

Salt, pepper

Fresh herbs

Cooking:

In boiling water, add the peeled and chopped potatoes and the washed rice. Add salt.

Chop the carrot, half the onion, and the tomato. Sauté them in oil, then add to the pot with the soup.

Meanwhile, prepare the meatballs. Grate half an onion into the ground meat, season with salt and pepper, and form small balls.

When the potatoes are nearly cooked, add the meatballs to the soup and simmer for about 10 more minutes.

Finally, season the soup with pepper and add fresh herbs.
