Rice with Cauliflower
Ingredients
Round grain rice "Zernovyta" – 3.5 oz (100 g)
1 head of cauliflower
1 onion
Button mushrooms – 7 oz (200 g)
3 garlic cloves
Oil, salt, pepper, turmeric — to taste
Cooking:
Chop the cauliflower into small florets and pulse it in a food processor until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Cook the round grain rice "Zernovyta" according to the instructions on the package.
Dice the onion. Heat some oil in a pan and sauté the onion until soft.
Add diced mushrooms, minced garlic, and spices (salt, pepper, turmeric). Cook until the mushrooms are almost done.
Add the cooked rice and cauliflower to the pan. Sauté everything together for another 10–12 minutes over medium heat.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
