Apple Pancakes without Flour

Ingredients

5-6 apples (about 1 lb / 450 g)

3-4 tbsp "Porridge Oats" Zernovita oat flakes (about 0.5 oz / 15 g)

1 egg

1 tbsp cornstarch (about 0.5 oz / 15 g)

1 tbsp sugar or honey (about 0.5 oz / 15 g)

Vanilla, cinnamon, salt – to taste

A pinch of baking soda (on the tip of a knife)

Oil for frying

Cooking:

Wash the fresh apples, peel them, remove the core, and grate them on a fine grater.

Add the "Porridge Oats" oat flakes to the grated apples.

Add cornstarch, the egg, sugar (or honey), vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda.

Mix everything together and let it sit for about 30 minutes to allow the oat flakes to swell.

Pour vegetable oil into a pan, heat it up, and fry the apple pancakes over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
